How much does it cost?

UOM is free for sellers to list their oil. Buyers pay three cents per gallon for every contracted purchase.

How does this work for sellers?

Sellers list the following information:

• the quantity of oil for sale
• an asking price
• a given location
• an availability date

How does this work for Buyers?

Buyers list the following information:

• a desired price
• a desired quantity
• in a desired location within a ZIP code

How are Buyers and Sellers matched?

Matching criteria is applied thus:

• the desired location--only Sellers within ZIP codes specified by the Buyer
• the cheapest price--the lowest asking price is satisfied first
• the oldest offer--if two sell offers have the same asking price, the one entered first is matched first

How is ownership of the oil transferred?

UsedOilMarket never ever has possession of the oil and is not responsible for either taking or making delivery of the oil or payment for the oil. Instead, the buyer and seller are mutually responsible for making arrangement for the physical transfer of the oil and subsequtnt payment arrangments.\

To facillitate transfer between buyer and seller, UsedOilmMarket provides the followign services:

• an email is sent tot he to both the buyer and seller notifying them of the contract
• Buyer and seller phone numbers are each to the other in the contract notification email.
• The buyer is provided with the seller's physical map location.
• Both buyer and seller may rate the transaction.
